Warning: This Channel 4 Ultimate Film is not a guide to good films nor a list of films you must watch before you die. But a list of the most successful films in UK, in terms of the numbers of tickets sold.

  2. The Sound of Music (1965) ~30m, one of the popular musical of all time.
  3. Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs (1938) ~28m, a classic animation, the last one in a supervision of the legendary Walt Disney.

Never have a chance to watch number one nor two. But I think I used to watch Snow White at least once, not sure if it’s the original version or not.

  4. Harry Potter And The Philosopher’s Stone (2001) ~17.56m. Don’t BOO me, .. never watch or read Harry Potter. I’m sorry 🙁
  5. Grease (1978) ~17.2m. I never see this film, but can rekon many songs from it. My sister have its soundtracks album.

  7. Jurassic Park (1993) ~16.17m. Every kids love dinosaurs, I’m not an exception.
  8. Lord Of The Rings: The Fellowship Of The Ring (2001) ~15.98m
  9. Thunderball (1966) ~15.6m
  10. Lord Of The Rings: The Return Of The King (2003) ~15.22m
  11. Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers (2002) ~14.4m
  12. The Full Monty (1997) ~14.19m
